Cookie Policy

Last updated September 26, 2026 Allaway LLC

01What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Some are set by this site. Some are set by other companies whose content appears on a page — a video player, for example. Similar technologies such as local storage and pixels do the same job, and everything written here applies to those too.

This policy explains which ones Allaway Events uses, why, and how to refuse them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with personal information more generally.

02What we use today

Very little. We do not run advertising cookies, we do not sell or share data with advertising networks, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

On a normal page of this site, the only cookies and local storage in use are the ones Webflow needs to serve the page and keep it working. They carry no marketing value and identify no one.

Two things set cookies only when you interact with them: an embedded video, and an embedded Instagram post. Both are described in section 04.

04Embedded video and social content

Some case study and venue pages carry a film or an Instagram post.

Video. We embed YouTube through youtube-nocookie.com, its privacy-enhanced mode, and the player is not loaded at all until you click play. Until then the page shows a still image and no request reaches YouTube for the player. Once you press play, Google may set cookies and will receive your IP address and information about the page you are on, under Google’s privacy policy.

Instagram. The Yerba Madre and Camp No Counselors case studies show public Instagram posts. These load only as you scroll near them. When one loads, Meta may set cookies and receive your IP address and the page you are viewing, under Instagram’s privacy policy. We receive nothing from Meta in return and run no Meta advertising pixel.

05Analytics

Where analytics are enabled, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read, how people arrive and where they leave. It is configured to measure the site as a whole, not to identify you.

Google Analytics sets cookies and collects your IP address along with device and browser information. Google processes this for us as our service provider. You can opt out on every website you visit using Google’s browser add-on.

Where consent is legally required, analytics cookies are set only after you give it.

06Forms

Our brief and vendor forms are delivered by Formspree, which passes your submission to us by email. Formspree may set a cookie to prevent automated abuse of the form. It does not track you across other websites.

What happens to the information you send us is covered in our Privacy Policy.

07How to refuse or delete cookies

You are always free to refuse cookies. Blocking strictly necessary ones may stop parts of this site working.

  • Your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, and block third-party cookies specifically. Look under Settings, then Privacy.
  • Embedded media. Do not press play on a video, and blocking third-party cookies will prevent most embedded content from storing anything.
  • Analytics. Use the Google opt-out add-on linked in section 05.
  • Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an objection to any non-essential cookie.

08Your rights

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, cookies that are not strictly necessary may only be set with your consent, and you may withdraw that consent at any time by clearing cookies in your browser.

If you are in California or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have rights over the personal information cookies collect. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Your full rights, and how to exercise them, are set out in our Privacy Policy.

09Changes to this policy

If we add analytics, advertising or any other new technology to this site, we will update this page before or at the same time as the change, and revise the date at the top.
