Pocono Mountains · Pennsylvania
Our playground. Your canvas. 400 private acres in the Pocono Mountains — 2 hours from New York City.
Our Venue
The Acres isn’t a venue we rent. It’s a venue we built — and one we run ourselves. Four hundred private acres of Pocono Mountain landscape, 2 hours from New York City, with more than 30 indoor and outdoor event spaces across the property. A program can move from a covered general session to an open-air dinner to a full-campus activation without a single guest getting into a vehicle.
Running it takes an operations team of more than 90 people — production, kitchen, grounds, hospitality and guest services — all in-house, all on site for the length of your event. We’ve delivered over 150 private events here, and The Acres has become one of the most sought-after event properties in the Northeast.
One full-campus takeover per event. No other groups. No shared spaces. Just your people.
The Allaway Take
We’ve produced 400+ events. Most venues are a compromise. The Acres isn’t. It’s the reason we own it.
400 acres owned outright. One group at a time. The Lodge, The Barn, The Lake, The Campfire — all exclusive to your event. No other conferences next door. No shared pool decks. No accidental audience.
1-Gig fiber with redundancy. 300+ beds on property. Commercial kitchen. AV-ready barn. Cleared airspace. A 90+ operations team. The things that kill other events’ budgets — we built them in.
When your team doesn’t have to commute back to a hotel, they stay up late. They show up early. The conversations happen at the campfire, not the elevator. Proximity is the event.
The Poconos feel remote. They’re not. Sprinter van from Midtown to check-in is 2 hours. That’s close enough to say yes to, far enough to actually disconnect. It’s the right distance for what we’re trying to do.
A barn that seats 500. Thirty-five acres of spring-fed lake. Fifteen tennis courts and eight miles of private trail. Whatever the next hour of your program calls for, it already exists here — and nobody else is using it.
Four hundred seats, a full-service bar, a coffee bar and a lounge that never quite empties. The balcony looks out over the flagpole lawn — artificial grass, lawn games, and the spot where a ten-minute morning briefing turns into the conversation nobody put on the run sheet.
Seats 400
Portable stage, built-in mood lighting, full AV and private bathrooms — looking straight out over the lake. Outside: picnic tables, solo stoves, fairy lights and an Airstream bar. This is the room you build a closing night around, and it has never once been the reason a show ran late.
Seats 500+
Inflatables, waterslides, kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, sailing, waterskiing, tubing and wakeboarding. It is the centerpiece of every summer program we build, and it is the first thing people talk about when they get home. Every single time.
35 Acres · Spring Fed
Ropes course, zipline, climbing wall, leap of faith. Fifteen tennis courts — four indoor, eleven out. Beach volleyball, pickleball, a full indoor sports complex and eight miles of private trail. All of it on property, all of it yours, and all of it programmed around your team’s energy rather than a venue’s availability calendar.

30+ Activities
Nobody drives back to a hotel. Every bed sits inside the property line — which is what lets a program run from breakfast through to the campfire without a shuttle schedule holding it together.
Forty-one standard cabins across the property. The classic Acres stay, and the fastest way to put a large group under a small number of roofs — close enough to each other that the evening never really ends.
Ninety-plus private rooms, all new for 2026. Hotel-style privacy without leaving the campus — for leadership, for speakers, and for anyone whose week only works if there is a door that closes.
Three self-contained cottages for the people who need space of their own. Somewhere to take the call that could not wait, host a client dinner, or put a founder who lands at midnight.
All three sit inside the same exclusive campus booking, and all three are covered by the one contract — no separate room blocks, no hotel minimums, no rate cards to chase.

Yes — always. When you book The Acres, the entire 400-acre property is yours. No other groups, no shared spaces, no accidental crossover. Your event is the only event on the property for the duration of your stay.
The Acres comfortably hosts 50 to 500+ guests. On-property accommodation sleeps 300+ across 41 standard cabins, 22 private rooms, and 3 cottages. The Barn seats 500+ for events and The Great Lawn can handle festival-scale programming for thousands.

The Acres operates seasonally from May through October. Peak dates fill up quickly — we typically recommend planning 3–6 months in advance for summer events. Contact us to check availability for your preferred dates.
