    Seventy-five acres on the edge of one of the most extraordinary landscapes on earth. The property is surrounded by thousands of oak and sycamore trees, rolling hills, and the kind of sky — sunsets and star-filled nights — that California delivers when it is at its very best. Groups come here and immediately slow down. That is not easy to engineer. This place does it naturally.

    Fifty-two guest rooms in the Main Lodge. Fourteen dorm-style rooms in Cedar Hall. The Chairman’s Suite — three private en-suite rooms with a living room and full kitchen.     Thirty minutes from Fresno Yosemite International, three and a half hours from LAX, and available in every season. It scales from a 50-person leadership retreat to a 300-person full-company offsite. The 6,200 sq ft Main Lodge handles big-group dining and programming, and the outdoor spaces can take festival scale. This is a venue with real range.

The Main Lodge

The heart of Wonder Valley. The Lodge houses the main dining room, a lounge, and multiple private rooms and suites that can be divided and converted for meetings, workshops and breakouts. Full AV throughout — flat screens, projectors, wireless microphones, sound systems, WiFi, Apple TV, AirPlay and printing. The Gazebo overlooks the lake with a portable bar for cocktail hours and sunset receptions.

The Private Lake

Water park, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding.

The lake is the centerpiece of every summer program we build here, and the on-lake water park is a guaranteed highlight. Canoeing, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding run throughout the day. The campfire sits just off the lake’s edge — the best spot on the property for the kind of evening conversation that does not happen in a meeting room. Add the pool for a second aquatic option and free time programs itself.

Where exactly is Wonder Valley?

Wonder Valley is a 75-acre ranch resort in central California, on the edge of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. It is 30 minutes east of Fresno Yosemite International and three and a half hours from LAX. Allaway coordinates all transportation, including our Sprinter van fleet and charter bus partners for larger groups.

What’s the maximum group size?

Fifty to 300 guests. The 52 guest rooms in the Main Lodge, Cedar Hall’s 14 dorm-style rooms, the Chairman’s Suite and the Millcreek house cover the full range. The outdoor spaces and the lake handle festival-scale programming at the upper end of that capacity.

What activities are available?

On the property: a private lake with a water park, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, a pool, go-karting, paintball, horse riding, archery, a ropes course to 35 feet, tennis and pickleball, yoga, campfires and hiking trails. Off site: hiking into Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Programming: Olympics challenges, paint and sip, live music, karaoke, trivia, brand activations, festival entertainment, and coffee and chocolate tastings.

What accommodation options are there?

Four options. Fifty-two guest rooms in the Main Lodge, in king, twin or bunk configuration, all with air conditioning, heating, WiFi, satellite TV and coffee. Cedar Hall, with 14 dorm-style rooms sleeping up to five with shared bathrooms. The Chairman’s Suite, with three private en-suite rooms, a living room and a full kitchen. And Millcreek, an exclusive four-room private house with its own living room and full kitchen — ideal for leadership groups.

Is the venue exclusive to our group?

Yes. Allaway books Wonder Valley as a full venue buyout — the entire 75-acre property, all accommodation, all spaces and the full program team are dedicated to your group and your group only for the duration of the event.

What does the Main Lodge offer for events?

The 6,200 sq ft Lodge houses the main dining room, a lounge and multiple private rooms that convert for sessions, workshops and breakouts. Full AV throughout, including flat screens, projectors, wireless lapel and handheld microphones, Apple TV, AirPlay, sound systems, WiFi and printing. Our IT team captures requirements in advance and sets everything up before guests arrive.

Is it available year-round?

Yes. Central California’s climate delivers something in every season: warm summers for the lake and the outdoor activities, clear autumn skies for hiking and stargazing, and mild winters for focused retreats. We recommend booking three to six months ahead for peak summer dates and the popular early-year slots.

What does catering look like?

Continental breakfast with additional items, charcuterie and appetizers, boxed lunches, themed dinners, and local central California vendor options. Bar service with premium alcohol packages, bartenders and a liquor license. Allaway coordinates all food and beverage preferences in advance — from grand lodge dinners to lakeside barbecues to coffee and chocolate tasting sessions.
